Over the last few months we have been working with our community and graphic designer, Nathon Webber, to create our brand. Our brand is a reflection of our ongoing vision to inspire, grow and strengthen by empowering individuals in taking an active role in our community.

The Centre is currently undergoing a much needed facelift to improve sustainability thanks to financial support from three levels of government. The Department of Communities is replacing the ceilings, fans and insulation. Federal funding through the Community Energy Efficiency Program with the support of Josh Wilson MP has seen solar panels installed and with
some additional funds from the City of Cockburn, all lighting upgraded to LED.

Term 3 Program starts Monday!
We have lots of workshops and programs for adults this term! You can book and find all the details here on trybookings.
Many of our classes require minimum numbers to attend so it is important to book early so we can avoid the disappointment of cancelling.
Crochet LOVE is a new 5 week class with your teacher Pauline, who wants to share her passion for crochet. Mon 12-2pm 19 July – 26 August, creche available.
Social Sewing will be on Mondays 9-11.30am. We have 3 dates this term - 26 July, 23 August, 20 September, creche available.
Cultural Cooking our next cooking session will be 29 July from 11.30am-1.30pm, creche available. Our volunteer chefs Maggie and Phil are planning a special Christmas in July feast!
Knitting Classes are running for 6 weeks from Thursday 5 August 9.30-11.30am with our wonderful volunteer Yolanda, creche available. We were very fortunate to receive a donation of knitting needles last year so all you need to supply is some yarn and come along ready to learn something new.
Sewcial Saturday will be held on the first Saturday of each month. The dates for this term are 7 August, 4 September, 2 October.
Belly Dancing the lovely Selina will have your hips swaying to the music in no time with her wonderful classes.
Starting 16 August on Mondays from 1.30-2.15pm for 6 weeks.
