We have had a wonderful start to Term 1. It has been great to welcome back returning families and to meet lots of new families. We have introduced some great new programs this term including Women's Creativity Circle, Return to Work Program, Yangi Hub and a Community Choir on Tuesday evenings. There are more activities and events still coming up this term. Please take a look at some of the highlights below!

Atwell Playclub

Playclub is a stepping stone between playgroup and kindy. Our facilitator provides a variety of developmentally appropriate activities with a strong emphasis on parent / child interaction. Sessions are structured with a degree of flexibility to suit the individual needs of each child in the group. With a focus on creativity and imagination, Playclub provides a fun-filled environment for children to learn and explore.

Sewing Basics

SEWING BASICS - Monday 9.30-11.30am, 16 March - 6 April

Join Jacinta for a 4 week introduction to sewing workshop. Bookings essential only a few spaces remaining!

We also have regular Social Sewing sessions for sewing and chatting on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays. Creche is available on Mondays.

First Aid for Parents

Know what to do in an emergency, join our First Aid Demonstration for Parents on Tuesday 17 March from 9.30-11.30am.
Provided by St John Ambulance this course is designed for parents who would like an introduction or basic refresher on First Aid knowledge related to children and infants. It covers common injuries and illnesses that occur in everyday life. This course combines both theory and practical demonstrations, including the Recovery Position, CPR and Anaphylaxis. Bookings are required the fee is $25/person. Crèche is available for $5/child.

Active Aging

We have been very fortunate to receive funding through the Active Aging Initiative providing opportunities for older Australians to participate in physical activities

CHAIR YOGA every Wednesday, from 9-10am.

Join Michelle from Yoga Seashells for a 30 minute Chair Yoga session followed by time to connect with friends.
Adults - $50 / 5 weeks or $12 casual
Seniors (65+ years) - $10 / 5 weeks (subsidised fee)

Join Robby from Bewley Fitness for a 45 minute light fitness session followed by time to connect with friends.

Saturday Playgroup

Our first Saturday Playgroup is coming up on Saturday 14 March 9.30-11.30am

Celebrate the start of Harmony Week at our Saturday Playgroup. This is a great opportunity for dad's to attend with children 0-6 years. Sausage sizzle provided. Gold Coin donation.
