This event is for sewist and non-sewists who want to come together and help make much needed resources for the Animal Rescue Collective - who send Joey pouches and other items to animal rescue centres that need supplies for injured wildlife.
This event has been organised by our community volunteers. The Yangebup Family Centre is providing the venue. Children can attend but must be supervised by parent/carer, we will have some activities set up. There are a few spots available in Occasional Care if you do not want to supervise your children, contact the centre to book. All welcome to come and help out - plenty of jobs for non-sewists too.
Come for the whole day or just an hour...and bring your friends too.
Chinese New Year Open Day

Wear your favourite RED outfit and join us in celebrating Year of the Rat. There will be plenty of craft and activities to keep little ones entertained. Please bring a plate of food to share for morning tea and remember hats, water bottles and sunscreen.

The Healthy Eating, Activity and Lifestyle (HEAL™) program helps adults of all ages and fitness levels develop lifelong healthy lifestyle habits. If you feel unhealthy or believe you could be eating and exercising better, then HEAL is the program for you.
The program is run over a 8 week period, with 2 contact hours per week including:
1 hour of gentle exercise - low-moderate intensity physical activity that anyone can do
1 hour of lifestyle education.
You will also receive health consultations at the start of the program and after completing the program.
The HEAL Program costs $35 for the full program.
