We hope you have a wonderful Easter and we look forward to seeing you at the centre very soon.  Take a look at all the fabulous programs, workshops and events running at the centre in Term 2.
Don't forget we also have a Holiday Play Session on Wednesday 19 April at 9am for kids 0-10 years!
 
Term 2 Program
The Term 2 program is now available with lots of information about the programs, workshops and events happening at the centre. 


We are currently taking enrolments for a new Stay and Play program (playgroup) at Success Primary School starting Monday 24 April from 9-10.30am. The fee is $70/family for the term. Our facilitator provides a program suitable for children 0-4 years. Contact the centre for more information info@yangebupfamilycentre.org
 
Tuning into Kids
Tuning into Kids is a five week parenting group, provided by the City of Cockburn Parenting Service, that will provide strategies and ideas to help your child talk with you about their feelings. You will learn emotional coaching tools to enable you to listen and connect with your child during emotional moments. Develop your skills in recognising, understanding and managing your child's emotions. Make connections with other parents and learn skills that will help you throughout your parenting career.
Suitable for parents and carers of children up to 12 years.
Free workshop with free crèche available. Starts Thursday 27 April 11-1pm

Free Family Event

Join us for a Family Market with lots of stalls, multicultural food, bouncy castle, disco room, henna, sausage sizzle and more. Great chance to support local and buy local just before Mother's Day. Stall holder application forms are available on our website www.yangebupfamilycentre.org/suq-alusra


“Suq Al’usra” is arabic for “Family Market” and was chosen to celebrate the cultural heritage of staff member, Salma Al Saliby, who is originally from Jordan. The Suq Al’usra Family Market is proudly supported by Linkwest who have provided $500 as part of the Neighbourhood House Week celebrations.  In 2017, Neighbourhood House Week will celebrate Belonging. Neighbourhood Centres like the Yangebup Family Centre, belong to the community, and in turn they offer the community a welcoming space where they can feel a part of something: a place to belong. We hope you can join us!

 
Little Chefs
Come along to our Little Chefs program starting Thursday 11 May from 11am-12 noon.
Cooking class for chidren aged 2-4 years.
Making yummy, healthy meals from around the globe.
Bookings required. Places are limited. $75 for 5 weeks.
