Whether you love sewing, knitting, crochet or any other craft, bring your project to our Craft n Chat and enjoy a friendly space filled with creativity and conversation. There are no formal lessons, just a chance to share ideas, learn from each other and connect with fellow crafters.
Bring your own supplies, and if you need
a sewing machine, you’re welcome to borrow one during the session.
With up to 5 hours of crafting time for the one low price of $6.00 you can stay for as little or as long as you wish!
In the lead up to our next Sustainable Fashion workshop we are providing a space for a Pop Up Op shop!
You are invited to bring in up to 3 items in good condition. Items are FREE to take or swap!
Don’t forget to sign up for our next workshop - creating a Sustainable Spring Capsule Wardrobe on Saturday 16 August 1-3.30pm. Bring along some items of clothing to swap or for style inspiration and enjoy afternoon tea with a glass of bubbles or a cuppa!
We have a limited number of tickets remaining so get in quick!
We are very excited to announce our new community initiative!
Following the very
successful community yarn bombing project in 2022 we are ready to do it all again! This time we will be creating an underwater theme along the walkway at the entrance of the Centre
As part of the project we will be providing some crochet workshops plus free crafting sessions to work on the project together. Can't make the sessions?
That's ok, there are plenty of ways to contribute including making at home. What to make is only limited by your imagination as we create a space with seaweed, water and creatures - items can be crochet, knitted, sewn or created with recycled materials.
