Our special guest speaker Marissa Verma bravely shared her story of her devastating illness, overcoming the infection and
surgeries and her ongoing journey of recovery . Her incredible strength and determination was inspiring to us all as she talked about her time in hospital, what she was thankful for and learning to manage without her hands and long hours of therapy and practising to walk again.
