Celebrating our 30 year Anniversary

with a community project!

Do you know how to knit or crochet?

Come along and help with our 30 year project!

We are planning to yarn bomb some of the trees out the front of the Yangebup Family Centre!

You can come to one, two, three or as many as you like of the yarn bombing sessions.

You can also join our facebook group and work on the project from home.

Sessions are free with free creche provided.

Thu 9-11am 5-26 May and Mon 9.30-11.30am 13-27 June.

The first one is tomorrow - you are welcome to come along!

Kids Go Wild!

Join us Tuesday 10 May at Beeliar Oval for a scavenger hunt and Tuesday 7 June at Cilantro Park Treeby to celebrate International Yoga Day.
These FREE monthly events commence with a nature walk where children are encouraged to explore the natural surroundings. This is followed by a hands-on activity focused on nature and a picnic. Please BYO morning tea and rug. Social distancing and COVID-19 protocols will be followed to ensure the safety of all participants.

Craft n Chat @ YFC

Come along for crafting and chatting at the Yangebup Family Centre. Previously Social Sewing, this group has expanded to include other crafts like crochet and knitting as programs and interests have expanded at the Centre. All levels of experience are welcome. These sessions do not include any formal tuition however it is a great place for sharing ideas and inspiration. Please bring your own sewing machine, if required, and crafting supplies.

Come along next Friday from 6-7pm for a FREE community meal!

Mobile Foodbank

Foodbank will be at the Centre every Monday, from 12.15 - 1pm offering low cost food assistance.
Please call Anglicare on 1800 979 777 for your over the phone assessment. Please see staff in the Centre if you need help with the referral process.
